The story of the company:

FerroPharma Chemicals Ltd. was established in 1987 as a joint venture company. The facility of the company is located in Dóc village, about 25 km from Szeged town and from the Hungarian-Serbian border. Since 1987 till 2001 year the ownership structure of the company had changed several times. The present owners have acquired the company in 2001.Since that time the same management has been controlling the company. In 2002 the owners changed the name of the company from Vasfu to FerroPharma.

The company started the manufacturing of the Ferrous fumarate in 1988.The ferrous fumarate is the only product on the company.

The capacity of the company is more than 1.000 tons/year .The product meets all requirements of the effective USP, PhEur and FCC, even the California Proposition 65.

The company has been certified for GMP, ISO 9001, Kosher and Halal for more than five years and listed at FDA.

FerroPharma manufactures pharma grade ferrous fumarate. The main end users of the product are the pharmaceutical companies, however the company delivers for food and feed additive purposes too .The main market is the USA, European Union and Far-East countries.

The technical level of the equipment is excellent. In the last years the whole production line has been renewed.

The company pays high attention on the environment protection.
